Without Merit

Colleen Hoover

3.6 AVERAGE

medium-paced
Flaws of characters a main focus: Yes

From what I see this is a divisive author, it’s only the second book by them that I’ve read. I really didn’t like Verity and didn’t get the hype, but this one I quite enjoyed!

It’s bordering on YA and although there are a couple of ‘odd’ bits in it it’s an ok read.

I've been wanting to read this book ever since it came out. And I finally did. Am I impressed? I'M MORE THAN IMPRESSED! I swear, every Colleen Hoover book amazes me even more than the other. This book is no different. I think I could kind of relate to Merit, especially in this point of my life, and that's probably why I loved it so much. Sure, her family is definitely a lot different than mine, but her internal battles are similar. It was just a fantastic book, and I hope that there will be a sequel.
