Not my favorite book of hers but I did somewhat like the story.
yikes... I really don’t know how I feel about this one, especially towards the end
In my opinion, this book and the previous one (It Ends with Us) have a darker shade compared to the softer desperate romance theme which put Colleen Hoover on the map. A good book, showing the how a family is falling apart by the accumulating secrets and problems of its members. This is more reality-check romance than the soft embrace of so called chick-lit.
Good but not my favorite
As with all her books it was a good read! There was a couple things I never would have guessed that happened which made me need to read more! The way she tells a story hooks you and makes you finish it.
The downside the characters pissed me off. I honestly didn’t care for them but the story was good and I needed to keep reading. Some parts of the story didn’t make sense but it was still a good read
