It just really hit home for me. I felt the depth of the characters, the emotions, and just seeing everything through Merit’s perspective and how she viewed her life was enlightening in itself because Hoover shows you how one sided everything can be when you try to keep/understand everything by yourself.

By far my favorite novel of Colleen Hoover’s.

I loved everything about this book. Every time I thought the story couldn’t get any weirder, it would quickly take a change in directions. What a ride.

i’ll review it properly in the future but apart from it being just a little bit silly imo I found it quite insulting at times. My main problem is the amount of important and heavy topics it tries to discuss, and the way Colleen goes about to discuss them. She definitely doesn’t do them justice nor does she give them the weight they deserve.

4.5⭐️ loved this book, never met a Colleen book I didn’t like. I enjoyed this because it was very much fiction with a dash of romance. The plot is great and I enjoyed the family dynamic and weirdness of this book!

This book was a bit strange at times but a good type of strange? Merit gave off weird vibes sometimes, I know she is depressed but I feel like she has other mental problems too perhaps…I disliked her family except Sagan but in the end I thought her reconnection with her family cute. The mother was strange though living in the basement and new victoria was annoying. Quick and easy read with a good plot and storyline loved the secrets which were revealed throughout
