I'm drawn to this troupe ... and I'm not sure why! They're pretty predictable.

This book was super cute and really funny! Really loved the enemies to lovers dynamic between Lottie and Huxley. Definitely a Grumpy x Sunshine too! Fake Fiance and Billionaire, all sum up to make a really sweet & spicy story! I also really enjoyed that when the inevitable break up did happen, it wasn't super dragged out like is done in lots of romance books. Already reading the next one!

It started off rough for me.
I felt Huxley was a complete asshole….which only made me want to continue reading to see how he was going to dig himself out of his lies.
But the chemistry between him and Lottie was fire.
So many laugh out loud moments, some tears and some gasps with this one!
Overall, a definite must read!

I almost DNF this about 14 times. The manic pixie girl vibes Lottie was giving off for the first half the book make me want to shout profanities into the pages. Lottie, girl, sometimes you just need to take a breather, count to three and then start talking. Also pretty trash plot, she goes out searching for a rich husband and finds the richest single dude in LA that just so happens to be her soul mate?? 🤮
And Huxley, why the heck do you need to be this possessive macho dude instead of just being vulnerable??
This was absolute trash to read
