I almost DNF this about 14 times. The manic pixie girl vibes Lottie was giving off for the first half the book make me want to shout profanities into the pages. Lottie, girl, sometimes you just need to take a breather, count to three and then start talking. Also pretty trash plot, she goes out searching for a rich husband and finds the richest single dude in LA that just so happens to be her soul mate?? 🤮
And Huxley, why the heck do you need to be this possessive macho dude instead of just being vulnerable??
This was absolute trash to read

TikTok hyped this book quite a bit. Honestly, it wasn’t all that. It was decent tho!

OMG! I loved this book.

This book was laugh out loud fun. I was cracking up during the fake baby scene.

There was definitely some spice, but I found myself skipping over some dialogue and rolling my eyes

The book was fine. Same story, different characters. I’m not a huge fan of romance but received this in a blind book exchange and felt I had to read it. Romance is predictable but it was light, though slower for me, which was good after some heavier reading.

Couldn’t finish it. Stopped around 45% and wished I had stopped sooner.
