Now we hit the complication of the story - The Smiler has been elected, and Spider /knows/ he's worse that his predecessor, but nobody's listening any more. And then the incident on Dante Street - and its consequence - just solidifies this, and for once, Spider is powerless...

Filthy, black, crude, and perilously witty.

I fall more and more in love with this series with each volume.

One of the best series out there. Not for people who lack a sense of humour or have an over abundance of prudishness.
