Filthy Rich Vampire immerses you in an so hot, steamy, forbidden love story from the first page. Instead of being bound to old relationships that don’t reflect who they are, Geneva Lee implies that there is a world of vampires that exists in love and hatred. When Thea, a human cellist, unexpectedly collapses into Julian's arms, he makes her a tempting offer: She pretends to be his girlfriend for the social season in order to help her pay her mother’s medical bills.
This tale tells a tale of a passionate romance between a vampire and a mortal that must fight through their responsibilities to get there. Her broken characters are unusually skillful at intensifying sexual tension. Both had suffered abuse in their time and having trouble bonding emotionally. It may be their ‘fake relationship,’ so they don’t get to have any physical contact but chemistry simmers and builds with each chapter.
The creative girl in the story is Thea, in a position well beyond her control, and the powerful man she is with keeps his kindness concealed shielded behind a tough exterior until the very end is Julian. When his secrets begin to surface readers will hope that this flawed anti hero finds redemption.
Filthy Rich Vampire is a huge story set upon lavish ballrooms and blood rituals. Ultimately it’s a Gothic romance about 2 damaged souls searching for love in a cold hearted tough world. Lee promises more romance to come with the next installment in the series, which fans eagerly await.

This book gave fifty shades and twilight vibes. So, obviously, I’m obsessed.
I loved this, I can’t wait to read the next one the ending was not fair at all!! The spice was spicing I’m hoping for more in the next though! There’s seems to be a couple plot holes if you really push it but I have great faith it will be wrapped up nice in the next books.
Pros:
-Fun tropes
-Doesn’t take itself too seriously
-Fast-paced without a lot of unnecessary internal monologues
-Sexy vampires (‘nuff said)
Cons:
-Multiple plot holes
-Very disjointed writing
-Every plot development was essentially just a setup for another trope
-The MMC’s name is Julian so I kept thinking about the lemur from Madagascar
Based on literary merit alone this was at most 2 stars, but it deserves another star for delivering on vibes. Read if: you just want to turn your brain off and don’t have high expectations in terms of writing or world-building, and if you’re not planning to continue the series because the sequel is egregiously bad (but yes I am reading it smh)
