“You guys read romance novels?” “We call them manuals.”

When I first picked up this book last year, I DNF-ed it because I wasn’t feeling the story. The pacing–to me at that time–was not it and it was putting me into a slump hence why I decided to not continue reading it. But out of nowhere today, I was craving a little contemporary read and decided to give this a try again and OH. MY. GOD. I AM SO INTO IT THIS TIME AROUND

this story is cute, funny, heartwarming, a tad bit steamy, and a realistic portrayal of what it means to work to save a marriage. the pacing is phenomenal and there is no wasted page, no wasted scene. I couldn't put this book down. I barely blinked and I was in the last chapter already. The guys were great fun, their meetings hilarious and the banter was brilliant.
