Wow, just pure wow. This was just an emotional ride, a ride in a rollercoaster.

This book is about the San Diego Comic Con of 2014, right when the outbreak began.

I never been to the San Diego con (nor ever been in the US), but if we don't count the zombies, it sounds like a great con, maybe one day I will be able to visit it.

It is told from different POVs and I can tell you each of them were heartbreaking. Really, I cried tears for those that were trapped in there, trapped with zombies, trapped knowing they wouldn't be able to get out.

I would recommend this to everyone who likes the newsflesh books.

I loved this insight into the beginning of the end. I would like to see a full length book set in this period.

This was such an amazing novella I absolutely loved it. The firefly reference was pure genius and it all seemed so believable. You could really imagine it starting in a place like that.

Man, this was a horrifying scenario. Imagine going to a huge comic book convention and the zombie apocalypse just happens, and there’s no escaping.

(You couldn’t pay me to go to any conventions nowadays with Covid still running rampant, that’s bad enough, but reading this makes me never want to go to a convention ever again!)

In conclusion…thanks, Ms. Grant! I hate it! (which is to say this was a fantastic novella but god it’s truly scary to think about something like this happening)
