Lorren and Justin had a really good love story. Her surprise at the end really made me smile. Really enjoyed this book.

This book was ok. Justin and Lorren didn't seem to have much chemistry to me. Normally, a Brenda Jackson book evokes more emotion. It pulls you in at the beginning and holds you to the last page.

This one didn't do much for me. The relationships with his siblings were more interesting than the relationship with Lorren.

You do get your HEA, and an epilogue.

Found this novel through Book Riot: https://bookriot.com/best-romance-novels-of-all-time/. This is one of those articles that I rarely completely agree with, but they are always fun to read. As far as I can remember, I have never read a romance by Jackson, but I know she is a well respected romance writer. So I decided to try this one. I had a good time - this was an excellent hot fudge sundae.

This story was so nice to read. Good characters and an interesting plot. I wish Scott had the chance to do more dirty work but these stories are always so short.

Yes to black love. Yes to a man who knows what he wants.
