Interessant nawoord van Gerrit Komrij.
geeft heel goed de Zeitgeist weer van deze periode. Wel veel moeite om me in te leven in de pathetiek en het sentimentele, die jongen weent wat af.

This is by far the worst book I’ve read. Had to read it for school and I usually really like reading for school but this was genuinely awful. It was so awful that I couldn’t make it past the page 25. Beside I didn’t understand any thing because I had to read it bloody German

Ο Βέρθερος είναι ένας καληνυχτάκιας εξ αποστάσεως, που θέλει αλλά δεν μπορεί (κι ενδεχομένως όταν το μπορεί δε θέλει) τη μνηστή και μετέπειτα σύζυγο ενός φίλου του. Η εμμονή (ψύχωση;) του αυτή δεν τον αφήνει σε ησυχία και για κάποιο λόγο πρέπει να το εκφράζει συνεχώς. Yawn factor πάνω από 4 στα 5, μόνο που χαλάει την τάση για ύπνο επειδή ο αναγνώστης εκνευρίζεται.
