I agree with the person who said the story is boring but the prose is beautiful. Some of my favorite quotes and lines and everything. Werther is such an amazing character, so bright and wise, it was so hard to see him become so consumed with obsession. Put this and White Nights in the category of “books about obsession people think are about love”
