What an interesting combination of horror and queer romance. The characters were so realistic! And Terciero is very skilled at slow revelations. Although I would’ve liked the ending to be more drawn out and filled with queer love, I was satisfied.

I'm a mix of emotions after finishing Northranger by Ray Terciero and Ben Indigo. This book is beautiful.

We delve into the lives of Cade and Henry as they deal with their emotions and feelings towards each other. There's mystery and intruige but it seems that it is the mystery side of things that comes between Cade and Henry. What secrets are being hidden by Henry's family?

The emotions that were unravelled throughout this book was a mix of heartache and happiness. Having that feeling that you must remain hidden by hiding your true self was such a delicate subject that I feel was really well done in this book.

Also, the illustrations throughout this book were beautiful and so nicely done. Everything was clear in regards to motions, emotions, etc. A job very well done!

5 star read!!

Oh, my heart. The author fit so much into this graphic novel. The themes were executed wonderfully, and all of the characters felt fully fleshed out and it was such a joy to read.

This was such a lovely little story.  The art style was so beautiful from the pages to the cover.

I really enjoyed this graphic novel.  The characters were detailed and complex, the setting was done well, the drama/plot twist was entertaining, and I am really happy with how it ended.

Cade's comments were a mood the entire time.  He kinda reminded me of a latinx Nico di Angelo.  His family was really wholesome at the end, I was so happy with the way his parents acted—and I loved how his Abuela knew his secret probably before he even knew.

Thank you to NetGalley and the author/publisher for this e-ARC in exchange for an honest review.
