truly, a lot of this book didn’t make much sense. the characters’ motivations were unclear, things happened too fast, there were plot holes that caught my eye. it was a very fun concept, but I wish it had been executed a bit better.

The whole time I was reading this I felt like I was missing book in the series. I felt that characters and story lines were tossed in to make sense but I was feeling lost. Was looking forward to this read but was left disappointed.

i personally really loved it!! i love greek mythology and i thought the concept of the agon was soooo interesting!!! there was a lot of information, but it helped make the story! i really enjoyed how greek mythogy was weaved to fit the story and i really enjoyed the story!!! i would reccomend if you enjoy greek mythology!! just a mention that there are several mentions of sa in this.

I liked it but it was just fine, nothing crazy. The whole book happens over the course of one week (with some flashbacks to years prior) and follows them through each day including when they sleep. It is lightly predictable and feels like it could be building up to a much more complicated end but then just kind of finishes up. I had a good time reading it but I don't think I'll be raving about it anytime soon.
