Well, I'm disappointed.
It's not a bad book, it's not a good book either but this is such a great waste of potential!
Moving aside the fact that a YA Greek Mythology book set in NY must accept the fact that will be compared for sure with Percy Jackson (and few books are as good as Percy Jackson), the problems with this book are others, especially how the author chose to talk about Greek Mythology.
First of all my bae Hades wasn't in this book, neither Persephone neither Hera or minor gods and goddess which could have been a great add to the story.
The truth is that a little, aside for names, of Greek Myths was in the book, this story could have work with any pantheon!

Lost interest in Greek mythology and did not love the characters
I enjoyed this book more than I thought I would, but I also thought it could've been better.
I really enjoyed that this was an Urban Fantasy book and the strong inspiration from Greek Mythology. I thought the conceit of a hunt for the Gods and the transition of Godly power was really interesting. I saw some (a lot) of the twists, but I was also surprised by a few. I liked Lore as a character, mostly because I like jaded/mean/scary FMC's. However, I thought all of the characters (Lore included) were a little flat. I also think this would've worked better if Alexandra Bracken had written this as an Adult book instead of YA.
