This was okay. I didn't like it as well as her other books I've read, but it was still pretty good.

Emily Benedict moved to Mullaby, North Carolina to find out about her mothers past. Her Grandfather, Vance doesn't share a lot of details but it does not escape Emily's awareness that the town did not like Dulcie. With a neighbor who bakes next door, Emily finds a friend but Julia Winterson is determined to move out of Mullaby.

Win Coffey finds himself intrigued by Emily and the story of her mother Dulcie. Not everything though is as it seems for both Emily and Win. They find a kinship with each other and as secrets are revealed, how will it unfold when it comes to them.

This was wonderful, I really enjoy this authors writing she has a very visual way of describing everything. Mesmerizing.
