this one was a little too far out for me! i love the olympus series but this is less story and more corn.
Who knew Jafar is the man we all needed?! Loved this retelling!
Not enough story line. The plot has potential but I might as well be watching porn instead. I love some spice with my story, not story with my spice.
I do love the focus and emphasis on consent unlike that trash 50 Shades. Though the story is basically non-existent.
It’s great at what it wants to be.
Favorite character? Tink.

Well, I’ll be a … Even curse words fail me. Don’t hate this Jafar fella anymore.
I listened to the whole audiobook in one day, and now I’m going to take a nice lukewarm shower because this was filth of the highest order and y’all are missing out on Disney being defiled in such a feminist, kinky way.

If Jasmin shacked up with Jafar. It's a good read. Jafar is dominant, and his character is well thought out. Really enjoyed the spice. It's the type of book you read before heading out for a spicy weekend with someone you have zero inhibitions with.

Yesssss. Also, I love Katee's footnotes in the new edition!!
Fuck did I just read?
I guess I'm just too old and salty for this, because I rolled my eyes through most of it, skimmed the "plot" bits, and kept wanting the sex scenes to be a lot smuttier than they were. (Note to author: you don't need to remind the characters/readers of the safe word and that this is all pretend play every few paragraphs, because it BREAKS THE FUCKING IMMERSION.)
Plus, the unexpected Daddy/baby girl angle? No kink-shaming around here, but damn if that wasn't suddenly shoehorned in and super fucking awkward to read.
I wanted this to be a lot filthier than it actually was. Solid, unexpected ending though. That saved the book.
