Im not sure if it was the writing, the narration (maybe I shouldn’t have listened to it?), or what.  But as much as I wanted to read it, I just never caught on.  I almost felt like it was headed nowhere (although I understand the bulk is leading up to the wake ultimately) It felt chaotic and just wasn’t something I wanted to Finish.

This books premise seemed so promising. A woman who sees the future deaths of others and suddenly calls for a wake for herself leaving a family to wonder why. But it was so slow and so boring. The timeline jumped all over the place and characters were so numerous and the POV jumped around so much…but despite that nothing happened and I made it almost halfway through. Couldn’t do it anymore.
