Started off fantastic. I liked the tropes and mmc, but shit started to get repetative. Fmc would be involved in drama, mmc would come to the rescue. He would scream MY WIFE in every chapter for no apparent reason.
Their connection was pretty instant and that's kinda boring for marriage of convenience trope.
By the 55% plot got predictable and I skipped to the end not to bore myself to death.
By the end I realised the author is a man so not sure how I feel about that too.
All in all 1.5 stars from me.

Who needs actual relationship building when you have a magic dick. Also the stupidest conflict had me wanting to dnf this book at 80% wtf was that?!

Honestly read so many mafia romances that I forgot the main plot
Ended up enjoying more than I thought I would! There was a pretty interesting plot running through the book which we don’t always seen in mafia romances. Not super intricate plot but still nice!

I was more invested in the side characters than the actual main characters. I didn’t really see any chemistry between them but the side plot with the main antagonist was very intriguing. I’ll read Castles book for sure, I think he was my favorite from all the characters.
This book was better than the last one I read by this author. I liked the couple more. Rival criminal families is as much enemies to lovers as it gets. The romance was rushed but still engaging. I was interested enough to read the next book.
