At one point, they were like “oh we’re not going to go after the guy who threatened to kill you and kidnap you as a kid.” What kind of mafia does that? Not in any of the mafia books I’ve read. I couldn’t get past that.

devoured. was this the same as every mafia romance out there? yes. did i still finish it in one sitting and absolutely love it? absolutely. i will just never tire of my silly little mafia romance books xx
enemies to lovers, family rivalry& marriage of convenience with new mafia greek king and mafia daughter, obsessed. such an easy read from start to finish, i liked how it didn’t drag on at all, the pace was fast and the plot was continuously hooking. this had a very solid plot line and i was INVESTED, and there was definitely no shortage of action or violence. i was on edge half of the time but that’s exactly what i love the most with a mafia romance. i love ares sm, he wasn’t toxic in any way and he wasn’t overly morally grey. he was the perfect mix of violent when needed, possessive, demanding, bold& being a leader but also being hilarious, soppy and cute. the way i would feel SO safe with this man he literally took no shit about her from anyone and did everything with her in mind. the way i was SO close to living out my Y/N fantasy with neve. and when i say they did my name justice w her character
