Enjoyed but points off for the characters being dumb.
Also I’m not a big fan of non-omegaverse books doing the whole ‘biology made me see red with rage’ kinda thing. Just excuses for men having bad behavior and not behaving smartly
Anyway it was still mostly a good time as a read and good spice so still 3 stars. Timeline was a little hard to infer sometimes (ie how long have they been married, is this instalove, etc) but enjoyed the couple
- Verify the bad guy body part is actually the bad guy (blood type if not dna test)
- Don’t trust suspicious lady from going into your private bathroom - obv could have planted a bug or worse
- Don’t trust rape apologist bartender friend
- High kidnapping risk? Have trackers somewhere only your family can access
- Wanna see your wife when laid up in the hospital? Maybe just ask instead of jumping out of your bed while you’re basically dying

From the very 1st chapter, I was hooked on this story!
This is how Enemies to lovers should be done. the plot is brilliant got a lot of layers and it's done in a perfect way.
Characters are likable, even the 2ndery and others less important ones were written well. The same goes for the relationship between the characters.
The pace was perfect every chapter was written just the amount of words it needs to deliver.

Too insta love and the plot could’ve flowed better but also it’s not like I expected this book to be an amazing piece of literature lol - it kept me entertained so that’s all that matters
