Devoured this audiobook at 2x speed! Love the change in accents, the way the different languages sounded, and everything in between. I was immerse in the story and will listen to it over and over again. This had the best tropes, marriage of convenience, enemies to lovers, mafia romance and more. Absolutely recommend this audio! Loved how Ares fell head over heels for Neve, and the “my wife” moment? Swooned!!!! The banter? The angst? Phenomenal!!! There’s action in every chapter! Jagger always writes my favorite mafia stories, the ones I can’t never put down. I finished this book in a day!

This book was amazing and addictive but that is to be expected from this author. Neve and Ares relationship was hot and explosive. The plot was dark and twisted and 100% on fire. It is books like this that fuel my love of mafia men! It's a definite must-read!!
