This was my first Jagger Cole romance, and it did not disappoint. This is the kind of arranged marriage I love in Mafia romance. This is an arranged marriage between the Irish and Greek Mafia to have peace between the families.
Ares is the head of the Greek Mafia and comes to an agreement with Cillian, the head of the Irish Mafia, to marry his niece Neve. Neve was a sassy heroine who wanted nothing to do with this marriage. Ares and Neve have some insane sexual chemistry, and Ares gives it to her good. They were so hot together.
Ares was everything I love in a Mafia hero. He is dominant, possessive, bad ass, and Alpha AF. He definitely has touch her, and I'll kill you vibes.
I also love how he was so into having sex with her without a condom.
It’s the animalistic, caveman possessiveness in his rough, groaned voice in my ear. It’s that simple response to my worry of not being on the pill—“Good”.
The danger in this book took this to the next level, and I was on the edge of my seat at the end of the book. I also really enjoyed the side characters, and I can't wait to read Cillian's book next.

Another amazing mafia book by Jagger Cole! This enemies-to-lovers, arranged marriage, dark mafia book had me reading it in one sitting!

What Are's wasn't expecting was the spitfire of a wife he would be getting with Neve. The tension, banter, and spice between these two was amazing! This book definitely had major 'touch her and d!e' as well as 'my wife' energy and I lived for it! Highly recommend giving this a shot for your next mafia read!

While some twists and turns were pretty obvious, I still really liked this, especially Neve and her relations to all the other characters!!
