I do like slow burning spooky, although it could have ramped up a bit more in the spooks department.
The summer camp atmosphere was nice and in general the overall writing quite beautiful, I will definitely check other books by this author.
What didn’t hit for me was to merge of topics, the genderfluididty of the main characters foremost was handled well in my eyes, but the other topics felt thrown in on a hurry and barely hit the wall. The middle part stretched a bit too much.
The Audiobook is great!

Really not in the right mindset for a YA book rn cause why was the mc like "i have to play by their rules to find out what happened and to stay safe!!!" AND got threatened by a camp leader or whatever but still went "my pronouns are he she they" in front of the ENTIRE camp two seconds later omfg

I feel like the end was a little blah. Like it quickly wraps up and that's that. I wish it had slowed down near the end and more intensely explored the outcome and process of what was happening.
