This book had an in your face gripping opener, a slow build middle and a land slide to the end. Beautiful crafted writing with such tender love between Gabriel and Kierra. Please take heed to the trigger warnings at the beginning and please read when you are in the right state of mind. A story that is worth your time. I read this digitally but will be purchasing the physical book because I would love to re-read this. There was a big twist at the end that added to the story. As a reader who doesn’t want kids, reading the dynamic between Kierra and Ava was beautiful. Such a heartfelt story.

This book has a lot of heavy issues that are felt with in a healthy way. I thought I was getting into a romance but this book was so much more! Very well written complex issues with a bit of romance mixed with highly emotional, real life circumstances. Well done!
