Comedy of bureaucratic SNAFUs contrasted with a borderline surrealistic Guinea pig-pocalypse. This is what Americana is all about.

I read this story out loud to my husband as we were driving down the highway. I started laughing so hard I had tears running down my cheeks. Perfect!

Dear God, Just sell the Pigs. Them Pigs be Pigs !
A Quaint little satire on the redundancy of Bureaucracy. Brings a mirthful countenance to your day.
One another note, I'm Pretty sure Disney made a few Cartoons about them.

It is a very simple story with humor. I was shocked to find this book in the library, published in 1906 by Colver Publishing House. The book seems to have been given to the library by Charlotte M. Swan in 1935. It was fun to see all the old library markings from early and mid 1900s.

Oh my! I work for a college, so I understand the angst that Bureaucracy brings. I LOVED the story. The narrator was perfect!

Hilarious short focusing around miscommunication and the bureaucracy! When I listened to the USF Lit2Go recording, I was definitely imagining the cast of Monty Python filling the roles! :D
