"There are places in the world that must continue to exist, beyond our experience of them... Bell Gardia is one of those places"

Based on a real place and dedicated to the victims of the 2011 Japanese tsunami.

A truly beautiful story filled with hope.

To those who didn't enjoy it, you're heartless monsters.

I enjoyed this book and I thought its reflection on living and bearing the sorrow of the past was both thoughtful and reasonable.  This book really seemed to bring the characters to a peaceful ending rather than the happiest one.  All of the characters and their different struggles and growth were portrayed well through each short chapter.  The pace of this book was more languid.  While I thought the book sometimes slowed down to have drawn-out pacing, I think it was necessary for the portrayal of the book.

A quick read that focuses on the process of healing in the aftermath of losing your loved one(s). The idea of the phone box was written in a manner so appealing that it felt like the place is really magical and healing to whoever goes there.
