Somewhere in here there's a BIG time jump between volumes, which...I thought I'd just forgotten what the fuck was going on.

It happens a couple times in the series, and in some ways, I can dig it. We don't need every excruciating detail.

In other ways, I'm not into it because if there's something worth showing, I'd rather just see it as opposed to having it referred to, some character is all like, "I DON'T want to talk about it!" for a couple issues until I can finally find out what's going on.

Sometimes it works, but sometimes it feels like a way to add intrigue to an event that's not super intriguing: drop me in the middle and I have to figure out how I got there, which distracts me from events being less interesting.

I should try this on a date sometime. Tell the person I'm dating that they just got back from the restroom, and the date is in-progress, and something big just happened, but I don't want to talk about it.

I guess that seems cruel. But memorable?

Another great entry into the series. It definitely still deals with things with a YA lens but the story is great. The cliffhanger at the end makes me so happy I don't have to wait to pick up the next volume

The story progressed nicely here. I’m really enjoying the storyline and the characters. It is much more enjoyable to read these so quick in succession. I’m glad I was able to dive right into this fourth volume. And now onto the fifth!

Big time jump here, but fairly well used. Some interesting changes in the core group and we get to see the school grow which is cool. More little tidbits about the world too.

Loving the series as it continues on. A year has passed since Adrian's death and Karen is staying away and hunting while Isaiah is pretending to be something he is not. A new evil has shown up (but technically they are really old) to do back things to the school/camp. Cool graphics and a story that wants me to just keep on reading it.
