The story is alright. I looked for the book to have more of a logical point to it for the characters Claudia and Jasper. I say this because their characters have such strong emotions behind them. The story moves at a moderate pace, not slow but alright. The book has some realism to it. The romance is intense. There are moments between the two characters that is entertaining. I received a copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.

I was waiting for this last book of the Oxford Set with bathed breath, because Jasper has been an intriguing character since the beginning, and I was not disappointed! The villain of the first book, he revealed hidden depths in this story and frankly I think he had plenty of excuses for his behavior. I loved the banter between him and Clara and I loved that most of the characters of the previous books played an important role in this one. There were some unresolved issues that needed to be addressed and I think the author did it in the best possible way. The steamy parts are hot and emotional and the characters well fleshed out. I’m sorry to say goodbye to this series, but I’m sure the next one will be even better!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
