I’ll give this author one thing, she knows how to write a good male lead! Wouldn’t it be nice if we all had a Zafir in our lives.

Dani’s character had me on a rollercoaster of emotions because there were so many points I was upset with her thought process and her way of thinking. By the middle of the book, I could see that she was actually struggling internally with insecurities and hurt when she had to come to terms with how she felt with Zafir. I was getting frustrated with her every time she shrugged away her feelings for him as something else.

I was happy to see her growth but lord, my eyes are sore from all the eyerolling I did because of Ms. Danica Brown.

Either way, its was a good read.

Take a Hint, Dani Brown was such a good book! I was really invested the whole way through. I loved Dani and how confident she was, how she knew exactly what she wanted and was clear about that, and that she was just 100% herself all the time. It’s really inspiring when you see people like that. I loved what Zaf was doing with Tackle It and mental health. These characters and their lives just felt so real, it was quite refreshing. I absolutely LOVED the ending - what a super cute surprise!
