Queer women in cults is an easy win for me. I enjoyed this more than Tender is the Flesh, which was a pleasant surprise! Dystipias aren't typically my thing, but I did enjoy this ending despite that.

I am the target audience in every conceivable way and yet it’s just a miss for me. The ending wasn’t a surprise in the slightest, almost fully what you’d expect from a religious cult. It’s yucky but nothing new. Everything else was just sorta meh.
