This book is delicious. The prose is erratic at first, but once you get used to it it's poetic and beautiful. The plot is short and sweet. One of my favorite representations of a post apocalyptic world. If you're not usually into horror, this may not be for you. But if you enjoy religious horror and don't mind a little torture description, this book is excellent.

Wow. It's a short, quick read but wow so many messages and things that make you think. Religious horror, oppression & torture, abuse in every possible way. Bug stuff. Dystopia. LGBTQ+ characters. I really enjoyed this read.
