I forced my way through this because of the hype + I just wanted 1 more completed book in May. I was not a fan though. I had a very high suspicion of who I thought the villain was and absolutely was not surprised when it was revealed (& the reasoning was absolutely stupid).

Kirby made so many stupid decisions, and there was so much off-topic rambling that seemed to be filler and nothing else. The jumping between present day & 12 months ago was sort of fun, but didn't actually add anything to the story.

Just finished Everyone in the Group Chat Dies by L.M. Chilton and I was hooked from the first page! It strikes the perfect balance between sharp wit and chilling darkness. This twisted tale dives into a generation obsessed with likes over real life, all while a serial killer from 30 years ago reemerges—and the group chat holds the key. It’s the first book I’ve read by L.M. Chilton, but definitely not the last. I was kept guessing right up until the final page!
