Loved the switch to more archeology!

This one was bogged down with so much exposition and then every detail of the present day crime had to quickly wrapped in the last two chapters.

Good mystery that takes the reader to the Holy Land. This was my first Temperance Brennan book, and I really enjoyed it, but I got lost in some of the details, and I'm not sure I picked up on everything that happened. I read it in spurts. I'm going to make sure I have more free time to read straight through when I pick up another one of her books.

As wonderful as all Ms. Reich's books!

It took me over a year to read this book. I probably wouldn't have finished it at all if it wasn't part of this series.
It's well written and I'm sure the story is fascinating if you're interested in the topic. But I'm not. I don't care about religion and I'd rather not read about it. I don't skip books in a series though so I had to read it anyway. As I said, it's probably a good book if you are interested in these things. I'm just glad I'm done with it now - I'm looking forward to reading the next book in the series soon!
