I loved this book. The book was a lot different genre than I normally read and it exceeded my expectations.
The writing kept me engaged. I felt claustrophobic, scared, tense...it kept me turning the page wondering what was going to happen next. My imagination envisioned crazy scenes like I was watching a movie while I was reading. I am not much for watching movies but feel as though I must watch this now.
Great read. Recommend!

This is the funniest book I’ve ever read, I swear. Jurassic Park meets Sharknado.

This book is so bad I love it. I give it 5 stars because it's utterly ridiculous. It reads exactly like a 90's movie.

This book is perfect for people who love B Horror movies. And a perfectly ridiculous Shark Week read!

This was such a terrible book and yet I read the entire thing in 3 hours and loved it.

I'm a sucker for a good adventure/thriller novel and this was decent. Not amazing, but pretty much what I expected out of it. Pulse pounding terror, men fueled by revenge, a man who is redeemed (megalodons really are still alive!), the most savage predator on the planet, a bitter ex-wife, new romance, and lots of one liners. Long story short, for years, Jonas Taylor is ridiculed for believing that megalodons could still be alive, but is proved right after once comes up from the deep and starts terrorizing the world. Now his expertise is needed more than ever. Fun, fast paced, and easy to read, but not necessarily one that you'll keep coming back to.

2 stars for the sharks; -3 stars for all the gross, vivid descriptions of shark bodily functions and the inability to write a decent female character, of which there were only three and one was the meg.
