“You have to live each hour as if it’s your last,” she said, “and each day as if you were immortal.” Not me shedding tears by the end of this, rather unexpectedly to be honest. I enjoyed the characters throughout but didn’t feel particularly attached to them until the end. I only wish the true depth introduced in the final chapters was better explored the entirety of the book. Still a fun read and I will continue with the series.

Booooooring.

I know it’s a period drama but for some reason didn’t expect them to talk like /that/ the whole time? Shoutout Shonda Rhimes bc she really made something out of nothing with this one
