OMG you should have seen my face every time she added a new love interest, I might have also squealed when Lucifer showed up, because of course Dawn would call the actual devil to her. I didn't love it as much as the first book, which I think is just because I love revenge plots, but it was a good read. Did not realise that it ended like that though, I hope a third one comes out to finish off the story.

Dawn is back and with her are her monsters, some old, some new and a couple undecided. But oh my! B.O.B. will be needed while reading this and make sure there's a backup and some spare batteries...the heat level in this would give Lucy a run for his money. I love the relationship between Dawn and her monsters. They all bring something to the table and all give her something she needs. Getting to know them and their brand of crazy is way too fun. There's the forrest god, 1st mate and the one who looks out for her best. The fallen who is psycho and keeps you on your toes but his broken gets Dawn's broken. The dragon who takes possessive to a whole new level but is hilarious in his lack of modern day knowledge. This book gives a better glimpse of her monster of the labyrinth and...man I recommend a fan and ice water. Finally we are introduced to 3 more and I can't wait to see what happens with 2 of the 3 since they're sitting on the fence.

As for the story line, more revelations are made, secrets uncovered and Dawn fights the good fight, letting all of that hate and rage fuel her. She learns some valuable lessons about trust and second chances in this book. In the end she proves she's so much more than just a pretty package. I loved the story and am intrigued by where it is heading. Hate never felt so good!

Okay, the first book was all basically set up for the second one, this one.

If I was hesitant to give the first one a high rating than this one deserves more simply because of Lucifer. I was enthralled and amused to read she had even MORE mates, but that kind of entertainment alone kept me along for the whole ride.

If you enjoyed, yes dare i say enjoyed, the first book, give the second one a try. For me it was entertaining enough I was happy to continue with the series. However, from the sounds of it I'm not sure I'll like the future third book to come if the epilogue or the setup for it in the second novel is anything to go by. Bleh.

But yeah! Would recommenced giving book 2 a shot <3

Hate by K.A. Knight is a dark fantasy reverse harem romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Celestine Wolf and Jason Clarke. This is the second book in Her Monsters series.

I love Katie's books! I was pulled in from the beginning and couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next. I really enjoyed getting Nos, Dume, Aska, Griffin, Magnus, Jair, Lucifer and Dawn's points of view throughout the book.

The book ended on another cliffhanger, but that wasn't a surprise since it's the second book in the series. I can't wait for Katie to announce when book three will be released. In the meantime, I am going to have to read the spin off series The Fallen Gods.

Celestine and Jason did a great job on the narration. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would recommend this series if you like dark romances, fantasy romances, paranormal romance, or reverse harem romances.

Another one slow to get into but once the story developed further I really enjoyed it. Tons of smut, almost too much at times because it detracted from the story a bit.

Usually I enjoy multiple dicks, but she was just collecting them. Meh story line, predictable and very meh spice. It is there, just strangely eh.

oh my GOD! i am fucking obsessed with this series and these men. I LOVE how every man is so different and they have such big personalities, it really makes me in awe of how Katie can manage to keep up with so many personalities while writing and nail them all. I was completely captivated by this book, i was laughing so hard at some points and did not want to put it down. I cannot wait for the next book in this installment, i have yet to read a book by her that i haven’t absolutely LOVED. plot and sex has the perfect combo and i’m here for it.

Good, but not the end of the series! Not a complete series.

I was disappointed that Amazon says it's book 2 of 2, that's why I started reading the series - I was under the impression the series was complete. Just a heads up - if isn't!

Other than that (and I'm not removing a star for it of course) it's pretty good! The character development of the males is coming along as they open up to Dawn, and I'm excited to see how it plays out with Lucifer and Magnus. (I mean obviously they'll all end up together, but I mean the details and the story behind!).

I'll be looking forward to book #3!

Now Dawn and the guys found out who is behind the abduction of supes she’s going to bring them down with her plan in place everything goes to pot when she’s captured and thrown in a cell with the Minotaur then an ancient vampire who are both her mates . Whilst Oscar is off seeking help from the sleeping council Dawn and her mates start putting things in motion to free the imprisoned supes and take down the corrupt council. I was a bit disappointed to find out there’s no book 3 but when I searched KA Knights Facebook group I found out she is writing it now.
