This fun and easy, first-person book has a unique story while never feeling heavy or overly complex. I sped through as I constantly needed to know what happened next. I’m picking up the next book in the series immediately as this one was left with quite a cliffhanger.

Any book with baseball in it draws my attention. A beach read type book that I enjoyed.

3.5 ⭐️ cute story, fell a little short for me though in the rom-com department.

This was a very enjoyable book. Never got too heavy. A little romance, friendship, heartache, mental health. I recommend it.

I gave this book 4.5 stars. This is my first Linda Holmes book, which won't be the last. I borrowed the Evvie Drake Starts Over through my city's public library. It is also the book that I managed to read in one sitting.
Evvie has so many problems, but she keeps them to herself; not even her best friend, Andie, doesn't know. Dean’s career took a nosedive when he inexplicably developed “the yips”—he can’t pitch, and he needs a place to find himself once again and to see what's he is going to do in the future.
I loved the chemistry and the banter between the characters. There was tension and drama, but it wasn’t over the top. I just loved it!

4.5 stars for this perfect summer read! I loved the flawed characters and their lives. After readings string of terrible books this was the perfect book to get me turning the pages again!
