This was my kind of pace. Such a quick good read! It made me scared, which can be challenging to do for a book. Highly recommend to those who need a quick read or want something very fast paced.

Ending could have been a bit better. But still an intense read.

Just now sure how to rate this. On one hand, it's fast paced and an interesting yet terrifying premise. On the other, the characters were just, blah. I think it's believable the lengths a mother will go to protect her child and it is also easy to understand the traumatic after effects of such an experience. However, I don't buy the easy going relationships between all of the family. The ending was fairly abrupt as well. However, I would like to check out more books by the author as I did enjoy most of the story.

I FLEW through this book and was gripped from the very beginning. I loved the premise and feel it's well-executed. Not to mention I'm a sucker for third-person narratives and multiple POVs. There are one or two things that keep me from giving five stars. One of the characters felt a bit empty or stereotypical. There were also a few moments I that were too unrealistic and pulled me out of the story. Otherwise, I really enjoyed it

I really enjoyed the first half of this book but then felt it dragged later on. Ironically it felt almost very over the top 😅

I also struggled a little with some of the realism.
There is no way Amelia would have survived anaphylactic shock after AN HOUR without an epi pen.

I really enjoyed the premise and the beginning 100 pages. I also enjoyed the way the book got right into the main plot, with little side junctures. I do wish
Ginger and Oliver
were introduced a little earlier in part one, as it felt they were almost an after thought.
