DID NOT FINISH: 32%

was already struggling to get into this book but after the chapter where

the little girl the protagonist kidnapped goes into anaphylactic shock for over an hour without her epi-pen, and then magically recovers without ever once stepping foot in a hospital after a single dose of epinephrine?!?!?

i just couldn’t keep going.

I enjoyed the premise of this book. I think it would have been more effective as a short story, rather than a full-length novel. I found myself losing interest by the middle.

Amazing amazing amazing. Finished in 2 days. Would have been one. Short chapters kept me wanting more and turning the page. Absolute magic written in these pages. Psychotic actions for love and loyalty. BRILLIANT.
