Their friendship may have been borderline inappropriate, but Ryke tried hard not to fall for her and he didn’t touch her until she was eighteen. I don’t think he would have crossed the line prior to that.
I liked seeing more of Daisy being carefree, as she is the most sheltered Calloway sister. The relationship between them is wild, reckless, all in.
I especially adored seeing the other relationships from Ryke and Daisy’s POVs. They make them seem even sweeter than in their own books. This book made me fall even more in love with Lily and Lo.

However, there relationship seemed really healthy, for the both of them. It was very fluffy and angsty and fun

I could make a list of all the things Ryke said that prove he is a groomer (it's not even a wild interpretation but a simple fact). To be honest I get how appealing the plot can be for young readers but this is so SO dangerous and irresponsible from the writers .. Daisy being the one to engage things with Ryke does NOT mean that she wasn't groomed, Ryke waiting for her to be 18 does not mean that he's responsible and mature (it just means he doesn't want to go to jail).
There were other things that bothered me but this one was just so awful because you can't write about the mental health of a girl who has been sexualised her whole teenage years, just so she ends up with her groomer.

Second, Daisy and Ryke got together too fast. Like, I knew it was going to happen but it still felt like it came out of the blue.
And finally, I know we were supposed to be focusing on Daisy and Ryke, I know that. But Connor though!!!!! This man SERVED. What? I am obsessed with his entire existence. And with the two bombshells dropped on us, I'm ready to see how the friendship dynamic will shift.
I'm also really rooting for Lo's sobriety. My man has been through a lot.
This book didn't come to play. Damn! I'm so excited for the next one.
