This was really sweet. I loved the illustrations and the expressions on the jellyfishs' face. I think this would be lovely to read along with a little one spotting the jellyfish hiding on different pages.

The Search for the Giant Arctic Jellyfish is a playful book about a scientist in search of an illusive species of jellyfish. I liked seeing the jellyfish hiding in the illustrations just outside of the scientists’ sight. I also really enjoyed the illustrations of the boat! We got to see the inside of the expedition as well as how cramped it can get at sea.

Wow these illustrations are just phenomenal! I enjoyed reading this picture book and will be recommending it to parents of children who love to explore and are interested in the ocean/science! 🌊
I liked the twist that the jellyfish has been following the crew without them knowing but I hate a cliff hanger! I want to know what she did next?? Great for stimulating discussions with young children though 👌

I judged the book by it's STUNNING cover and expected something a bit more whimsical and magical than what I got. A lovely STEM-y story with a terrain kiddos won't have ever encountered in real life and a slighlty anthropomorphized giant arctic jellyfish as its mysterious subject. A fine book, not a favorite book. -SKB
This is the sort of book I always love, where the pictures let the reader in on a secret the narrator and protagonists know nothing about. I was sucked in by all the tiny details in the illustrations and I loved the palette. Top notch, especially for kids that love animals and the ocean.
