I liked the beginning, hated the middle, and loved the end. It was a true to life slap in the face. This books was a sexist, problematic mess. But the end mirrored a moment in my own life and knocked the wind out of me.

I very rarely dislike books. I’m the type to just love the process of reading a story. I hated this book. It is in my bottom 5 overall. The entire plot felt pointless and the ending was extremely underwhelming.

Really great YA novel, definitely adult themes and language but really well written. I have a few students to recommend it to as soon as I see them.

This is one of those books with intriguing summaries and plot buildups interesting enough to continue reading until, well, you actually get to the plot. Then, you're left disappointed, or in this particular case, disgusted. I couldn't even make myself finish the book. Shout out to Althea for being one of the worst main characters I've ever read.

to be honest, i'm not sure why i stopped this one.
probably had something to do with the whole sex thing (i dont see much point when your partner has no idea what he's doing bc he's still sleeping but alrighty)
and also because classes are getting busy so i never quite... had the time.
and it's very rainbow rowell, if you're into that sorta thing (who isn't?!)

Ugh. The writing was amazing, the characters were amazing, the story was amazing. I loved the chronic illness representation and this book felt like it should have been so meaningful to me. But there is a scene involving sexual assault that is just basically disregarded throughout the rest of the book. The casual rape culture is something I’m not willing to support, even though I feel like this book had a lot of potential.
