Ford and Carina has this tension filled chemistry that has been brewing for years, but several things have kept them apart until now. The bond these two form is a strong one until Ford ices Carina out for reasons unknown to her, but to Ford he had no choice. The use to be step siblings and anything between them would not only be taboo, but could possibly hurt Ford’s father’s career and yet Ford can’t seem to care now. Ford was such an amazing character that you knew he was all in when it came to Carina,but his vulnerability when it came to if she reciprocated those feelings or not made him even more enduring. Carina doesn’t want to fall for Ford and yet something about him can’t stop her from doing that no matter what is stacked against them. Will Ford be able to show Carina how good they are together or will everything implode leaving him a shattered mess? This story was fun, hot, and emotional. It had everything you would want in a romance and so much more. I can’t wait to see where we go from here.
Carina and Ford are fire and ice. They were once step siblings, but their parents have since divorced. Ford has always had a soft spot for Carina but keeps her at arms length because their chemistry is explosive. Truth or Dare has always been their game and Carina can not say no to a dare. After a pact is made that is going to be strictly "dickly" only. Welllll things don't always work out and they need to re think some things. I loved their banter and how protective Ford is of Carina. This book was great. I can't wait to pick up book 3!!!

They used to be stepsiblings, but their parents divorced. Now, Carina basically hates him, but Ford is obsessed with her. It's a one-sided enemies to lovers. Carina doesn't want to lose Ford's dad since she still treats him like a father figure. Her mother is mostly absent, and Carina doesn't have a great relationship with her.
These two have always had amazing chemistry and they have had a hard time denying it. Ford gives in and suggests they hook up to try to get each other out of their systems. Obviously, the opposite happens.
The banter between these two is fantastic, and my god the steam...so good. It hit perfectly for me with Ford's mouth and bit of kink. I think this might be the spiciest book I've read yet from the author!
I love a good stepsibling romance. It's a big focus in this one as part of the issue for the relationship.
The incorporation of their truth or dare game throughout was so much fun as well. I absolutely loved this and can't wait for more in the series!

I honestly don’t understand how this book has such positive reviews. The only thing that basically happened was the main characters fucking. It was so repetitive. There were some sweet moments, but i just wish that there were more of them. Overall i felt like they didn’t love each other, i felt like they loved fucking each other. If you want to throw away your time, then read this. If not, don’t.
