This was a silly and cozy romcom with a himbo and his nerd. Clay was sweet and hid his insecurities behind his gregarious nature. Owen was awkward and kind. Some of the writing needed polishing and I would have liked more depth to more of the conversations between the MCs.

Clay and Owen’s journey takes place in Pʀᴇᴛᴛʏ Fʟʏ ꜰᴏʀ ᴀ Vᴀᴍᴘɪʀᴇ Gᴜʏ by CD Rachels and Leslie McAdam, part of the 𝘊𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘱𝘪𝘯 𝘜 series.⁣⁣

Clay and Owen have some misunderstandings in the beginning until their familiar, Bat Nathanson, falls into their care and they become “bat dads” together, ultimately bringing their relationship from lab partners to more.⁣

Clay and Owen are adorable. Clay is the ultimate golden retriever jock, and Owen is the quintessential nerd who wants his crush to like him. Clay struggles to contain his vampire urges around Owen until Owen makes it known that vampires are his weakness and shows Clay compassion when he confides in him that he’s not a great vampire. I love that Clay and Owen complement each other and lift each other.⁣

Such a cute story with a vampire who’s a little touchy about his age, and an adorable nerd with a vampire fetish.

It’s all awkward flirting until they are bonded by the cutest bat familiar that could bat. Bat Nathanson!

These two are super cute, and I loved how they helped build each other's confidence in all ways. Together, they find love and a bright future.

It’s a fun read that’s relatively light, fast, and uplifting.  So if you like cute monsters…this is the book for you.

An adorable book where the two main characters are each other’s peanut butter to the others jelly. They just fit and I loved it! Clay had me snickering and laughing through the entire book and the moment they became bat dad's...total mush!!

I love nerdy heros and I love the jocks so Clay and Owen are a great combination of characters to fall for each other. They are both sweetly clueless in their own way; Clay is a bit scattered and forgetful, but super social and nice to everyone. Owen is super smart, loves learning, making PowerPoint presentations, or MonsterPoint presentations, and he can sometimes come off awkward, but in the cutest way. On paper these two wouldn't seem to match, but all of their opposites are what make them a perfect fit. Luckily whatever would drive someone else crazy, is catnip to these two. It's completely adorable and I was there for it!!

Owen went to Creepin U, to learn, but also to meet some really awesome monsters. Unfortunately, his social game is not his strongest strength. Clay on the other hand is friends with just about everyone and is full of self-confidence, except when it comes to flying. Poor Clay, thankfully Owen is super smart and is right by Clay's side to help out his new lab partner when finding his metaphorical wings. Clay also steps up when Owen needs a hand in recusing an injured bat and soon these two are co-parenting a bat, which is insanely adorable.

There are lots of couple catch-ups within this book, but also know this story is a standalone as well. Basically, this book is just down right adorable, with low angst, and I loved returning to the Creepin U universe.
