I understand what she was trying to go for, but it was poorly executed.

I really enjoyed this book! It seriously made me feel less alone in the world as a young women. It made me realise that my story isn’t that odd or dissimilar to the stories of other young women in the UK. Though I can not relate the Grace’s upbringing and her life as a daughter of a politician I could really relate to her experiences which mad me feel seen. Not only this but her writing style is amazing, a nice mix of comedic and informal but not so much so to undermine some of the serious subjects within the book. I read this book super quickly and I couldn’t not put it down. Would love to read anything else that Grace Campbell writes!

Hi, a major badass over here. I respected Grace before but woweeee what an open, strong, loving and beautiful book. It moved me and made me laugh lots and I hope so many gals feel seen n heard through her words. It covered so many topics and weaved in a really relaxed but clearly considered, structured way through such important themes that all just felt like tangents in a conversation. I loved the style. I preferred the first two thirds to the closing sections but I read it all eagerly and ain't nothin gonna make me give this less than five stars. J'adore !!!!!
