"That she would leave me for a robotic, unfeeling idiot like Kent. His thoughts are so empty, so mindless; it’s like conversing with a desk lamp. "

Oh my god, Warner is actually funny and relatable, on top of being hot and interesting?? There really is no hope for me lmao

On a more serious note, this was genuinely very good. And that is coming from someone who doesn't care about novellas, and usually skips them. Honestly I was torn if I even wanted to try this out, but I'm very glad I did. I think it gave us a much needed insight into who Warner is, and why he does the things he does. As it stood, he came across as pretty unhinged and maybe even a bit deranged in Shatter Me (not that I'm complaining, I was already into him based off of that XD), so reading his thoughts gave him so much more depth. He's actually a pretty decent person deep down, who does genuinely care for people. As well as very melodramatic and sassy, which is always a plus for me lol.

Now I'm very excited to read book 2, I need more Warner and Juliette stat!

This was beyond what I expected and seems like a very vital piece we should read to complete the whole series.
I Loved the way Aron poured his heart through this novella. We see the opposite of what we thought in the Shatter Me book, which makes us understand how it is all about the POV. he turned in our eyes from a Villain to a victim, he did nothing wrong and honestly, he seems like the most sane and emotional one out of all the characters introduced so far.

I love this book!!
Tahereh's words are so beautiful and they are sad in every word! It was a delight to read this one!! I feel like I don't put effort into reading her books which is fascinating! her words just flow flawlessly throughout the pages.

I already liked Warner in Shatter Me, and now reading from his perspective has made me adore him even more.
