This was the queer, boarding school, gossip girl-like, story of my dreams. I fell in love with each of the characters instantly. I loved so many little details, the varying queer identities, the co-ed sports teams, the incredibly accepting and supportive adults, so much more. So incredible, definitely recommend.

I don’t often write in my reviews but I couldn’t put this book down. Starting off as a very cute romance,  I was kicking my feet and giggling  throughout this book. And while I worked out who the watcher was and their intentions before the reveal I did not expect what came next. This book kept me engaged throughout and I fell in love with the characters. The reveals/ twists towards the end kept me on the edge of my seat and while the mystery wasn’t spoiled through them there were so many little aspects and nods towards things revealed at the end in the characters and storylines that made perfect sense when the reveal etc came around. Overall I really enjoyed reading this book- Evelyn, Elle, Seph, Jasper it was a pleasure!!

While it has a promising premise, Never Kiss Your Roommate is held back by its inability to decide what genre it is (romance or thriller), shoving a twist in at the end that makes little sense. The writing feels unpolished and youthful (in a bad way). I did enjoy the WLW and MLM solidarity though and found the characters enjoyable.

I really enjoyed this. It went a little batcrap crazy there towards the end and I could have done without the
Spoilerstalker kidnapping stuff
, but the rest of it was very entertaining. If you're looking for a little romance in your YA, you're going to like this one.

The characters were not fleshed out at all. and the cover shows two girls and suddenly you’re in a male pov for half the book. i feel like i don’t know any of the characters apart from the basics. and then what started as a fluffy book suddenly turned into a
murder mystery??? what??? it felt really stupid in my opinion. one thing was that it was nice to go back in your head and think okay this makes sense why noelle felt so strongly about not kissing drunk evelyn etc
the concept could have been amazing but it was poorly written and the characters were not there, i just did not care
