I’ve liked the book a lot, some twists really caught me off guard. The main force of this story is the cast, and the plot works best in their level. I’ll definietly read the rest of this series, however I’ll do it in english. For me, the hungarian translation feels a bit wonky, I’d like to be able to compare it to the original.

This was delightful.  I strain against the "cozy" label as of late because that is taking on a lot of baggage, so I'll say this book was very comfortable, the way a familiar television program is comfortable.  The story is structured in the mode of a serialized tv show, even.  We have an overarching premise--that the crew must reach a certain destination by a certain time--but what happens in between are more of a collection of character vignettes than a contiguous narrative.  I personally rather like this.

There were, however, times where it got a little too sentimentalist/twee for my tastes and the characters shared their feelings just a little too openly/for a long time, as if they just made a breakthrough with a therapist who is just off the page giving them a thumbs up.  Also, Rosemary's sordid past that she's on the run from doesn't amount to anything dramatic that pushes the story in any appreciable way, so the emotional point that the book ends on doesn't have the weight it's really grasping for.

That being said, it's still a good time, and perfect for someone who likes episodic television series about ensemble casts aboard spaceships.

I’ve owned this book for months and just finally got to it- so glad I did! This is sci-fi but it isn’t edgy/harsh/unsettling like I often find them to be. This was wholesome and cozy and so cool. Loved it. Great story & characters.
