I was very invested in the main issues of the characters outside of their cute and quirky romance!
Loved reading through it every night before bed.

I don’t know what I expected from this book but it was SO good. I learned about different sexualities. It also talks about racism, homophobia, family drama, and finding love over 40 and after divorce. Two people bond over video games and turn into best friends unexpectedly and then realize they love each other. They help each other thru their family and life struggles and bloom as individuals. There were only like 1-2 vanilla sex scenes but very PG-13.

I loved that this was an older couple romance. There was a lot of video gaming that I was a little confused about but I love that they connected through the gaming chat. Maggie is a single mom and her son has gone off to college. He isn't as social so she makes a deal that if he is more social than so will she.

Aiden is the leader of the online gaming guild and is caring for his aging mother, while his brother is married to his ex-fiancé.

While they both think the other is not who they are when they meet in person they are attracted to each other but with how their past relationships have gone they are both overly cautious.

It was a fun read and I enjoyed seeing them figure it all out.
